When
I first met Angelo Jannotti at the JAM offices this past June, I
had no idea that underneath his mild-mannered demeanor lies a true guitar
monster. So, when I listened to his debut solo CD, "eclecticacousticelectric",
I was truly overwhelmed, both by Angelo's level of talent and the quality
of the production.
Angelo displays
a technical mastery of the guitar that is on par with Steve Vai and
Joe Satriani. He is lightning fast, yet clean, fluid and melodic, with
a tone reminiscent of Eric Johnson. Indeed, if there were room for more
more on the G3 Tour, Angelo Jannotti would make a perfect G4.

With
this guitar-oriented album ["eclecticacousticelectric"],
Angelo Jannotti is destined to join the ranks of guitarists such as Joe

Angelo
Jannotti's "eclecticacousticelectric"
is a masterpiece of guitar virtuosity. When most instrumental albums are
presentations of incessant musical calisthenics, "eclecticacousticelectric"
shows Angelo's great reverence for melody and space. While Angelo (as
you will witness) has the speed, dexterity and chops of Van Halen or Vai,
the emphasis of the album is taste. An incrediby enjoyable album that
should be mandatory listening for all aspiring guitarists.

I've
got to tell ya...Angelo Jannotti's new CD, "eclecticacousticelectric"
is Great! I had Angelo as a guest on my radio show recently and featured
several tracks from the CD during the interview. The audience response
was immediate. THEY LOVED IT!
I especially liked
the track "Psycho Surfer" -- it rocks! "eclecticacousticelectric"
is a shining example of Angelo Jannotti's songwriting and playing skills.
The project is a milestone in his career as Angelo continues to emerge
as a gifted musician, writer, and performer.
